Synchronicity was written as part of Miller Theatre’s Mission: Commission project. Inspiration for the music comes from the weekly podcast discussions with Melissa Smey and Golda Arthur based on weekly voice memo conversations on synchronicity and related themes. Synchronicity is a musical meditation on text from Psalms 123 and 98 from the Bible, and includes improvisational prompts drawn from the weekly voice memos with a focus on joy.
